Alumim

Alumim focuses on learning about Jewish history and heritage and connecting it to our identity today collectively as a Jewish people and individually as Jews. Highlights of the program include our extended hiking and rafting trips as well as a one-day visit to New York City or Philadelphia to explore the history of the Jewish American experience.

  • Build lifelong friendships with Jewish teens from diverse backgrounds
  • Enjoy daily athletic, creative, aquatic and recreational activities
  • Develop and hone skills, crafts and hobbies based on your personal interest
  • Experience the beauty of celebrating Shabbat as a community
  • Explore a wide spectrum of Jewish rituals and practice
  • Create a lifelong connection with Israel and its people
  • Discover new facets of your identity by learning about your Jewish heritage
  • Understand how your family’s history fits into the story of the Jewish People
  • Travel to and explore the Philadelphia or New York City
  • Participate in a challenging and rewarding two day tiyul (hike) and campout
  • Raft on the Delaware River
